- today was a very special day for rikki-chan and i. yep, isang taon na po kami. and i couldn't be any happier, especially now that we're weeks away from saying hi to our baby boy. although today was not that much of a highlighted event, we enjoyed dining out in a restaurant somewhere off south. if there's just one drawback, it was that the food was too much for us. LOL.

- with that in mind, i would like to call the names of those involved in the 04/30/06 incident (in no particular order):

Shin. thanks for "forecasting" she would come into my life.

Beany. thanks for all the support you give to your mum.

Christen. thanks for umm... being a part of the cast (LOL) and for being such a nice friend to us.

Chii. the perfect ninang for our baby boy.

Matt. salamat sa crib. LOL

may celebration tayo as a re-enactment of some sorts maybe mid-may, so standby lang kayo for that. hehe.

as for everyone else, thanks for all your help and support to us as a couple. we couldn't possibly pick out any other people to be entwined with our lives but you all.

- tagal ko ring hindi nakapag-LJ ah. sobrang busy at demanding ang work ngayon, and basically if you'd look at my timetable from monday to friday, you'd be surprised. halimbawa:

0400 - Gigising, prepare for work.
0600 - leave for work, hoping there's no traffic/accidents sa SLEX.
0700 - YBM PLC. photocopy all the materials, look at the neew sked, pray na walang pasaway na students at sana may absent kahit isa. LOL.
0900 - class proper (three subjects).
1200 - lunchbreak. the only time that i'm active in using my mobile phone.
1300 - back to work... (four subjects)
1700 - out.
1730 - punta kina rikki-chan. dinner.
1900 - uwi. minsan detour muna sa net cafe to check mails and whatnots, pero most of the time eh deretso sa SM southmall para maglaro ng KOF XI.
2100 - dadating ng bahay. 
2200/2300 - slumbertime.

... medyo wala nang time to breathe. 

- nung holy week naman, stuck ako sa bahay ng apat na araw kasi umalis si ermats papuntang ilocos. ang masama nito eh hindi man lang sinabi sa akin na magtatagal so mala-survivor ako sa bahay for that weekend. buti na lang at dumadayo pa sa bahay si julius para bumisita since wala din naman syang ginagawa. ayun, TV, kain, Magic. 

- speaking of KOF XI nga pala, medyo natutukso na akong dumayo on a regular basis sa target mall sa balibago kasi unchartered territory para sa KOF Laguna. hehe. they have a couple of really good players, plus their machine has the hidden characters (yung sa sawtmol na-reset. amp.

- bad trip naman yung prerelease ng Future Sight. bakit april? at na-timing pa na outing ng PPF.

- ispiking op awting, lapit na yung 3-day outing ng PPF. can hardly wait... i miss all those bastards. hopefully e wala namang candidate for pit-booting this year. LOL. 

- nitong mga nakaraang araw na may chance akong makapag-isip ng kung anu-ano eh medyo marami akong na-produce na poems for Project Ota, most of which are PPF-DMGF related. di ko lang dala yung drafts, but when i get the chance to LJ again i'll make sure to post it. di ko pwede i-post sa site ng PPF kasi medyo hindi pambata yung ibang salitang ginamit ko eh. sabihin nagpapaka-bad boy na naman ako. LOL.

- buti na lang at may PC na yung friend kong si dann. he offered his PC to be the Minamikaze Forums Database (pinagandang term lang for tambakan ng files, logs, workshop for forum layouts at kung anu-anong kalokohan). on a relevant note, salamat kay apo na wendi for creating another MF concept logo. mabuhay ka. hehe

... yun na lang muna for now, i guess. i miss playing DMGF... *sigh*

- katatapos lang ng isang espesyal naaraw para sa inyong abang lingkod. hay. valentines day. as jologs as it may seem nowadays na makipagsabayan ka sa mga taong lumalabas para mag-date, nakikipagpatayan para sa upuan at reservations sa restaurants o di kaya e sa sasakyan, o nakikipag-unahan sa pagpasok sa mga motel (heh), it always is so rewarding to go out with your loved one(s) to celebrate a day of unadulterated LOVE. kwento ko ang experience ko sa araw na ito... ... mga past one na kami nag-meet ni rikki-chan sa synergy kanina, and funny enough i was so much excited to go out in my first authentic valentine's day date - asawa ko pa kasama ko. anyways, we played arcades a bit, and even though i was fairly being beaten at KOF 2002 (excuse: KOF XI na kasi nilalaro ko eh... - LAME) i didn't mind. it was actually funny how my opponent reacted every time he lost. para syang... may sayad. ask rikki-chan. hehe.

after nun pumunta kami sa mister donut para mag-snacks. solb ang pastries. 

balik sa synergy para maglaro ng DM/GF. i'm really starting to enjoy playing Meikyou Shisui sa DM. napansin ko lang na sira yung red and green buttons ng GF dun but i didn't mind - imagine what the occasion can do to the Oni Of Chaos? hindi nagagalit. LOL

nung pauwi na kami, dun medyo nagsimula ang problema - traffic. pagdating namin sa alabang papunta na dapat ng southmall aba e walang jeep so no choice but to go to alabang town center na muna. dun na rin kami nagdecide na kumain. pagorder na pagorder ko, saka ko lang naisip na di pa pala ako kumakain ng tanghalian so kain marino ako. hehe. sarap ng beef and mushroom rice ng magic wok. try nyo. XD kumain din ng dessert sa ice monster. tip lang: wag oorder ng coffee jelly nila dahil yun lang talaga laman nun. nothing special out of your 60 or 80 pesos for the sampler and the large one respectively. but beware the choco balls - it IS pure choco balls. XD

all's well that ends well talaga. siguro para sa iba parang walang special dun sa kwento ko pero it's the magic of love - there's a unique experience for couples that only the two of them can comprehend. well, in our case, the three of us. ; )

- i have been very very busy lately. grabe. though i won't be talking about all that crap in this entry. hehe. balik muna tayo sa ilang mga "timeshifted" na kwento...

planar chaos prerelease

nagkita kami ni christen sa harap ng building A ng gamol around 10, sakto lang pagbukas ng mall. dami ring gustong sumali, at ang haba ng pila sa registration. sabi ko nga sa kanya, mag-DM/GF session muna kami habang naghihintay ng slots. LOL. anyways, i was kind of disappointed kasi nung nakuha ko na yung starter deck at boosters e magaganda yung laman, i.e. extirpate, gaea's anthem (kitams) tapos nagpa-swtich yung putanginang judge. bad trip. anyways, buti na lang at matino yung nakuha kong cards and i managed to build a red-green-splash black deck that got a 3-1 sa bandang huli. i think i could've been a part of the 4-0 peeps if i had the 2nd fight deck-checked first cuz i felt na dinaya ako (no, really). pero hamo na. at least i got new cards, and rikki-chan got to watch me play. inspired maglaro dahil yung mag-ina ko na ang nanonood. hehe. 

tapos kumain kaming tatlo sa ohana hawaiian resto sa 2nd floor. i tell you, those are krabby patties they serve there. XD

read-or-die convention

nauna na akong pumunta dun kasi ala-una pa raw ang out ni rikki-chan, so i decided to go to timezone G4 to play DM/GF V3 muna. sa wakas, na-FC ko na ang bittersweet at bohemian like you both sa DM/GF (oo, hindi dapat ipagmalaki, magagaling na kasi kayo eh LOL). after basking in my so-called glory, pumunta na ako sa r-o-d con. astig sa loob. andaming... books (duh). pero karamihan hard-to-find. check out rikki-chan's entry about the convention. 

and we got to take pictures with lourd de veyra of radioactive sago project! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~

- so ayan... oo nga pala, para sa kaalaman ng karamihan e isa ako sa mga milyun-milyong naapektuhan ng katangahan ng globe so nagpalit na po ang inyong abang lingkod ng number...

- i woke up at friggin' 4am kanina at hindi na ako nakatulog. and right now i can't eat. i feel a bit queasy. potah. excited. XD

- if my memory serves me right, it has exactly been a year since i last played in a M:TG tourney. wow. and this time, one card gave me enough reasons to play: Damnation. but you know that already. hehe.

- mamaya i'll meet up with Christen, Timba and whonots for the tourney. hahabol na lang daw si Rikki-chan from work, then afterwards deretso kaming dalawa sa Tiendesitas to meet up with my Korean students for dinner. birthday nung isa sa mga top students ko so ima surprise her. hehehe.

- sa wakas, sinimulan na ng WoTC yung official previews ng cards na kasama sa set ng Planar Chaos. officially speaking, cards have been confirmed na "twisted" are: Damnation (an EXACT BLACK COUNTERPART of wrath of god), Groundbreaker (GREEN ball lightning - LOL wut), Nodes of Porphyry (white na drop of honey), and calciderm (white na blastoderm). sila na lang muna babanggitin ko kasi sila lang yung medyo noteworthy. hehe. one of the few familiar faces with new cards is Akroma, Angel of Fury. punta na lang kayo sa http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom/feature/382 para sa karagdagang detalye. am really excited to be able to join again...

- nakakapagod yung nakaraang linggo. i took 12 of my korean students out. buti na lang at kasama ko si jake at si rikki-chan so kahit papaano e controlled ang mga students ko. at hanga na sila agad sa prowess ko sa paglalaro ng Drummania, Guitar Freaks at King of Fighters. hm, yung sa naunang dalawa, not really (aminado akong buraot ako sa DM/GF); pero sa latter - DAMN RIGHT. hehe.

- speaking of jake, it was really a privilege to learn more about this friend of mine sa kulang-kulang na dalawang araw na pinagsamahan namin (sat-sun). i never thought i'd see that side of him - first hand. i really hope he becomes a better man after his 'journey'...

- almost 4 months na ang baby namin... am quite excited yet at the same time kinakabahan na rin kasi sooner or later we would have to tell our families about it... but one thing's for sure - i won't let anything or anyone ruin this love.

- nagparamdam kanina ang isa sa mga childhood friends ko thru txt. the entire gang have been wondering kung napaano na sya. i guess i'll drag him along as a surprise pag nagkitakits uli ang barkada.

- as for Minamikaze Forums, as promised, 2007 will be a year of great changes. prepare. this is going to be OUR YEAR.
